2016 GCGRC Specialty Information

GCGRC typically holds an annual conformation specialty in conjunction with Warren County Kennel Club Of Ohio and Cincinnati Kennel Club, Inc. in Hamilton, OH on Memorial Day Weekend.  As we were focusing 100% of our attention on hosting the 2015 GRCA National Specialty last year and putting the final touches on a successful event, our small club voted to forgo hosting a specialty in 2016, which would have required attention diverted from the National.

Therefore, at the Memorial Day Weekend Shows this year (5/27/2016-5/30/2016), there will be no GCGRC Specialty.

So what will there be?

Supported Entries

We have a great time hosting everyone and are proud of our long-time specialty.  GCGRC will still host four days of supported entries under the following judges:

Friday 5/27: Ms. Patricia Ann Flanagan
Saturday 5/28: Mr. Robert Stein
Sunday 5/29: Mr. Edd E. Bivin
Monday 5/30: Mrs. Delores Burkholder

Pot-luck

[EDIT] we will definitely be holding our traditional pot-luck!

Provided we get reasonable entries, we are still excited to hold our annual pot-luck meal in the grooming area the afternoon of Saturday, 5/28.  Come out and join us to break bread with friends and enjoying great conversation.

Eye clinic

Finally, just like in 2015, we will be hosting an all-breed eye clinic. More information on this will be coming out soon, but know that you can show your dog, get eye drops and get your CERF clearance!
